Sending a box of fish to sydney from melbourne would cost anything between $60 and $90 depending on the size and weight.
Rates have recently gone up with the extra cost of fuel.

Hi Crocky,
I know this is going to sound strange, but has anyone done a ring around in the Melbourne area to the local aquarium shops to see if we can drum up some business for you.
You must have some quaility discus for sale so you wouldn't think we in melbourne couldn't help you out.
If this hasn't been tried then I wouldn't mind on your behalf doing a ring around to see if your fish can be moved.
cheers Ian

Hi All
I have sold all these fish 5 months ago,but since then I have culled or feed to my fronties over a 1000 1cm discus.
I now have a fellow buying my fish by the spawn.
I am still breeding some dark colored pairs only to be foster parents.
I always have some small discus,I sell them in 10's starting at $7 each for forum members.(Melbourne)
I also have some around 5 to 7cm 5for $100 each
If your ever after some p.m me.
Brad
