Discus Anatomy
To help in identifying the anatomy of the Discus, I have thrown this together...
Please excuse the brightness of the image, I am working on getting a better quality image to use so as to place this in an Articles section with other relevant information.

Close Matt, but I can only give you second prize... lol
One of the ways it can be distinguished as not being a BD is the Nape (forehead) it is more uniformed (straight) than what you will usually find on a BD (ask Kev, he can explain it better)...
