It is a Dr Teo Heckel cross. I suspect it is crossed with a 'Curipera'. It is only young and I am told it will turn red. The other one I have is more striated.

I should say that I have never seen a discus this small with such a well defined black halo. That is why I just had to buy these fish.

I remember Scott Bowler had a few wonderful fish with a strong black halo, not sure if they were Heckles, but stunning fish. I will have to message him to get him to post up some photos
