Sterbai competing with shy discus for food.

I have recently got new discus and are still a bit shy. They tend not to eat food of the surface of the water but wait till it hits the bottom and then go after it. I was wondering if a group of 5 sterbai catfish would out compete the discus for food. I haven't kept them before and did know how aggressive eaters they are.

I have about 8 sterbai with my discus and they arent aggressive at all they just go around picking up the left overs .They make a great little clean up crew .

Sterbi get on fine, water conditions suit them as well, before too long they'll be supplying food in the form of eggs and young for your discus.
