only just saw this thread and noticed about the Axolotls, i kept em for a while and there not as easy to keep as most people/petshops say.
temps being the main thing that people dont get right, then have problems.
the main being fungal problem cause of temps being too high.
IE : anything over 24c is not good for axies preferably 20c is good and can keep them as low as 5c IE : putting them in the fridge up to 30 days to slow there metabolism and quicken the healing process if they get sick

Not even close to a fish shot but this was one of the scariest moments in my life. My girlfriend took this photo at Taronga zoo. The public viewing area is set lower than the lions so they don't feel dominated. I nealt down and had my face about 10cm from the glass and this shot was taken about 1 second before it lunged head first into the glass and I lunged 60m in the opposite direction like a girl. You can even see his breath on the glass
