the red melons were 10cm and the marlboro were 15-16 sometime in mid August. here's a recent pic of them side by side. the melon is on the right in both pics

They've grown so well. The melon especially has filled out beautifully.

thanks guys. bad guess with the tetra bits :P
i feed them beefheart, bloodworms, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp.
and no i'm not feeding any tetra bits or any colour enhancers at all. the tera bits make them a nice blood red, now they look more orange,if you compare them with fish fed on colour bits you can tell the difference straight away, the last dry food i gave was sera granules more than a month ago.

is this guy yours samir? if so its absolutely stunning. I prefer these over RGD any day , but then thats what I like.

i wish that was mine. If I could get that quality I wouldn't even bother with RGD's. Only drawback is that I cannot seem to find males with the same colouring. I prefer the pigeon blood reds , they seem to have much better colouring than brown based san merah ,rose red etc .
