Hello everyone...... so ok, here's my situation... I have 3 medium sized discus already in a 90gallon aquarium. They range from about 4-6" disc shape...

I recently bought and quarantined 4 new discus, and they are only 2" disc's (in comparison, MUCH smaller than the 3 I already have). Am I going to have a problem putting the 4 small ones in with the larger trio?

EDIT:

Here are the four new little guys, currently in their QT tank :)

In my experience Cory it really comes down to the individual fish.

Ive had a large variety of discus from 2 inch to adult in one tank before without any probelms.

but ive also had it the other way ;;and the dominant fish will rule over the smaller ones, hence pecking order develops.

put it this way you will know very quick if you have any issues, but it defintaly worth trying it out.

If you have any items in the tank, try rearranging them just before adding the new fish. All fish will have to adapt. But this will not stop real bullies!

I have lost 3 discus to pecking order. "try rearranging them just before adding the new fish", sounds like a good idea

Forgot to mention to keep an eye on the smaller of the 3 current ones. The larger ones will not be treatened.
