Hi guys , I was thinking about putting 1 or 2 HYDOR ARIO submersible light /air pump combos i my 4 foot discus aquarium for a nice night time affect, Would these cause any stress or anything to my discus?
Has anyone tried these?

The problem I had with submersible lights is they put out too much heat. It's hot enough where I live without more heat in the tank. Not the same brand though, the one we have here come in a Chinese package and I don't read Chinese.

I bought one thinking it would be silent , and a good way of getting air in the tank and providing a night light at the same time.....

turned out to be the worst 20 quid i ever spent !! Its really noisy , and the air sometimes just packs up and stops coming out for no reason , resulting in having to re adjust the valve on it etc ...

Complete waste of time and money ... shame really as the idea itself is quite good

Yeah I guess a lot of things sound good, until you try them
