Discus Strain and Hardiness

Just wondering... Is there a certain strain that are particularly hardi or delicate? Haven't had best luck with pigeon bloods and alenquers. Before getting more discus, wanted know whether there are certain strains that are easier to keep.

in short all discus requre a "high level" of attention if your expecting to obtain the maximum results of this type of fish.

best to start with the cheap strains eg turqs , pigeons, blue diamononds.
