Laminate Glass (2 layers of glass with laminate in the middle) super strong has been used as a discus community display tank. This tank is solid with over 3oo litre capacity and has been well cycled for over 2 yrs now. The glass alone is worth over $300 a square metre. Comes on a concrete slab as a base on 2 sand stone pillars as legs.
