Sounds strange i know but let me explain!

A while ago i set up a Lake Tang tank and have finally finished sticking my hands in a rearranging rocks - i know im bad but can't help it

anywho....i had a fine light green algae growing on one rock and in the last two/three days two other rocks haved bloom a green surface.

question is: it looks really cool and im kinda holding off getting a BN cos i wondering if it is ok to leave it as im intersted in seeing how it develops. obviously will have to deal with it at some stage...but in the mean time will it be detrementle to the general tank quality if i encourage it. (obviously will try manual maintenance means to try and keep it on the rocks only). I have no idea what algea it is, looks pretty common .....will post a pic as soon as i can take a clear photo......

cheers

If you like the look of it leave it,In one of my tanks i have a little like moss algae growing on a bit of wood hopeing it will grow over the other's lol but it hasn't yet :(
It won't affect your water quality.

More an likely as your tank settle's it will disappear on it's own
