Hi Guys
Have just purchase a Jebo 3x150w MH unit for my 6x2x2 tank. Have upgraded from flourecent tubes and have found the light has made my plants and fish look anaemic. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers

What's the kelvin rating of the bulbs?

I am not sure what the kelin is, however have changed them to some osram 5000k daylights and it has improved heaps, a little yellow but much better.

Yea, the closest you can get the kelvin rating to 6500k the better as this mirrors the same colour that the sun's light is.

Hi waterflash,

Yes you may have had 10000k bulbs or even higher before? See if it is labelled on the bulbs.

6500k would definately be better. Even a combination of two 6500 and one 10000 might be good.

Let us know how you go.

Cheers,
Mark
