What were your water conditions and temp before you did the change? Did you make sure they matched to the best of your ability when you changed?

Prolly stress, poor guy.

How is the fish now Discus Mania.

Stressed fish usually show darkened colours. A difference in the water quality would be enough to stress them.

Hope your fish recovered.
