can i cage wrigglers?
it's the first time in weeks, so i'd really like this to work.
earlier they have eaten eggs\wrigglers..
i bought some food for them "nobil fluid" can i cage them and feed them that?

You can raise fry by hand, but it tens to be very difficult.
I have had great success from fry of about 10 days old and housing them away from the parents, however I believe that raising them from any younger involves feeding them an egg mixture in a seperate bowl every 2 hours and then moving them back out of there into their main tank.
There are some instructions on the sticksy at the top of the Breeding pages.
Lady Red has also done this before I believe, she may be able to offer some more sound advice on the matter

okay, that seems too much of a struggle for me to do right now then, i'll just wait then, and hope they get older then today ;)

Hi,
If the parents continually eat the eggs/wrigglers you can cage them. Leave the cage over the cone until the wrigglers are free swimming, hopefully by then the parents will have bonded with the fry. I place an air stone at the side of the cone to maintain water flow over the eggs/wrigglers.

aha, that's a good tip . thank you, i'll let them have a go now, and i'll see what i can do next time if they fail this time also.
