Yeh I know what you mean Samir

Kev from SLS went overseas and selected this one for me as a red golden diamond (RGD). As you can see it isnt exactly white through the fins, but it is 100% clean on the entire body (except for the fins).

Ladyred and I seem to be in the same boat, however unlike a marlboro, the intensity of these black streaks can change upon mood and conditions. Like I can make them go away completely if I do a large w/c, but they darken considerable to what you see in that pic if the fish is overfed or stressed.

G if that white fish with the white eye is a female, I'd do a test mating with her and the male RGD.

I believe a lot of the breeders like to use those white fish because they put no colour into the fry at all, so they should all look like the other parent.

He's a gorgeous fish. Should produce lovely babies.

That white fish is a white swan - its massive too.

Almost 7 inches in size.

Im not sure if its a male or female, but its vent looks completely different to the RGD's.

I dont know what you mean about if I cross them to one another though ?

Will it clean up the RGD is that what you mean ?

DSC01574.JPG is a 7 inch blue knight discus.

Sometimes they are sold under the name reflection D or brilliant blue.

thanks. i bought one similar from an aquarium and they called it violet reflection. a week later the fish lost a lot of the colour and the body turns into a pale brown colour. my tank was fine every fish was normal except this new one i bought...no sure why....may be hormones that it was given. the one you have would be something that i am pretty keen. is the blue colour quite neon bright colour?

Pics in set 1 and 2 are taken without flash (as you would see in a tank for example)

Pics of them breeding is with a flash.

They look like pic sets 1 and 2 all the time for me.

You just need to get hold of good quality stock to begin with
