I just bought 8 of these little aspidoras. They are closely related to corydoras but cant be confused with peppered cats. These guys are barely 2cm long.

Cool, my lfs just got them in too, but they're a little bit pricey at the moment, $30 @ 3.5cm. If you don't mind my asking, how much did they set you back?

In the first week i lost 3 of these cats, not sure why...
I presume that they are very touchy imported fish.
I feed very heavily with live blackworms and have 3 males and 2 females. A week ago i had a spawn but only very limited numbers of eggs.
Lunch time today i was watching them spawn! I managed to get a photo (blury) of a female deposting her eggs!
This could possible be a first with this type of catfish!
They dodnt deposit thier eggs like corys but keep their eggs in one little tight bunch.
I will see in the comming days if they are fertile.
