Hello guys! In my tank I keep also a pair of apple snails and four zebra snails. On the glass, I dont know which of the snails, they lay something like "petrified" eggs. They are separate white dots and are very hard and rigid. They are only removed by the glass cleaning razor. Any ideas what they might be??

I assume they are snail eggs? My mystery snails lay them all the time on the underside of the glass lids out of the water.

Mystery snails lay them out of the water also in a lumpy mass, but the eggs are all together. The seperate hite eggs i'm not sure about, but it is likely the Zebra snails.

Sounds like snail eggs, but not from your mystery snails. As Sandy mentioned, mystery snails lay their eggs in pink clusters of around 200 eggs above the water line, usually on the cover glass of the tank. The cluster starts off as a soft mass which gradually dries and becomes hard.
After a couple of weeks, the tiny snails hatch out and drop into the water below.
Most other snails lay their eggs in a soft jelly mass below the water line.
If it doesn't sound like either of the above, then I'm not sure what it might be.
Can you post a picture. We may be able to help you then.

I have always removed any Mystery Snail Eggs from my Discus tank but have one snail in my hospital tank and in the last few days many babies have appeared. There are many clusters of eggs under the lid, this is just one of them.

I used to have those little pest snails in my that came with a plant I bought and they left marks on the glass like that which then hatched more of those darn baby snails. Before I knew it they started to take over my tank. I bought clown loaches to get rid of them and they did a great job.
I am not sure of the difference between apple snails or mystery snails, to me they are the same snail, but here are a couple of links showing the eggs of apple snails and they are the same as they pic I posted above. Perhaps you do not have apple snails :?:
