Hi Guys,

I've got 4 discus in a comunity tank. 1 female(about 1yr+), 2 not sure(6-8months) + 1 juvies.

Don't think any of them pairing up but the female is laying eggs now.

Is it possible to lay eggs without pairing?

When she lay the eggs, the other 2 just ate them. Is this normal? She fight for it but can't cope those 2.

Pretty normal I'm afraid.

If the female is full of eggs, she has to get rid of them somewhere. They're infertile anyway, because you don't have a male old enough to pair with her, so don't be too concerned.

Once the others mature a bit more, hopefully one of them will turn out to be a male, and you'll eventually have fertile eggs. :P

What If I get an old enough male into the tank? Will it be good? Assuming that those 2 pair up evventually? Are discus picky on their mate?

This egg eating habit, is it bad for the young guy or its just extra food?

Well.......... egg eating is a pretty bad habit to encourage, but it certainly won't hurt them. It really is just food.
