Guy's,

I need to increase my storage capacity from my little 110 litre container as I am planning a larger tank. I was thinking of getting a new 240 litre wheelie bin.

do many people use these bins. From memory they are only about $80.00

I havent used a bin myself but i have seen them used before. Have you thought about the 220 Litre plastic barrels?? They should only cost between $20 and $30 from a home brew shop and are food grade so you know they are safe.

becareful with the wheelie bins, rumour has it some have some sort anti fungus/bacterial chemical in or on it! not sure if it's true but i would not take the risk

go pete's idea and get a food grade drum, more volume anyways :)

Yeah it does make sense that they would put anti fungal within the HDPE.... suppose its the same as they put in the garden hoses....

your offer sounds great Ben thanks...I'll PM you for size and costs

wheelie bins arn't design to be full of water

when you do fill them up they can crack in th base and this tends to make a mess, funny that

food grade 200lt drums are the way to go
