Nice fish mate when i first saw those pics i thought to myself jee that fish swims at werid angels LOL :lol:

Saw some altums and peruvians in Bondi. My partner wanted them but we don't have the tank space... tank space = 0! haha

They were pretty nice.. i'm not a huge angel fan but i really liked em.. oh.. and they were not cheap either :shock: but worth it i think

YAYY !!! .... this time i got free swimming fry and some wrigglers ... so no eggs .... :lol:

well ... i guess there were eggs ... but i didn't realise it till i was trying to show my friend my angel pair and saw something small swimming around near the heater ... :D

so told my friend ... that's the pair and those small little swimming thing are their baby .... :)

so far counted ... 7 free swimming and 17 wrigglers .... still in the process on hatching brine shrimp. not sure what they were eating before but sometimes can see their stomach is black colour ... :)

anyway will keep you guys posted and will try to get some pics ... :)

They're gorgeous Andrie, well done.

Isn't it fascinating when they finally sprout their wings and begin to look like real little angels.

Just love them.:P

They are lovely fish.

and the fry look exactly like the parents.

Lovely. Nice straight dorsal and anal fins. Now just make sure you keep up with the water changes, because ammonia in the water can cause deformed gill plates.

They're growing well, good job.

yeah keeping up with the water changes now and then ... :)

oh and now getting more fry from the same parents ... still in wriggler stage but can't take pic now as my lady uses the camera ...

but will try to post more pics soon ... :)
