Macro feature on most digital cameras

A fellow at work was telling me about the 'macro' feature on most digital cameras for taking extreme close up photos ... just thought I would mention it.

Yup and out of all the digital cameras I've tried in the "prosumer" part of the market, the Nikon ones seem to perform the best with Macro. Not sure if it's the lenses, the camera firmware or what, but they are superb compared to any other brand I've tried.

I would second the comment regarding Nikon...

I use a 5700 Nikon Digi, and a high end Nikon 35mm (not that much anymore) both give excellent close ups...

Pyrowolf also quite likes the Nikon... (just wish I had of ran off with his camera recently)
