Use either 2x250 or 2x300s havent worked out the litres but its about a watt per litre.

2x250w would do the job, I would get the 300w. The price difference is small and it would make a difference on thise cold winter days

1 x 300w could easily heat the tank, so long as there adequate water movement.

Otherwise, 1 x 300w and maybe 1 x 200 or 250w to spread the coverage, act as a back up.

I have just sent Ben from AOA an email asking if he can list any specials etc on here and on the ABF site.

Combined both sites pull in almost 20,000 page views a day, so why not make the most of it...

Add to that the other sites, we can safely say exposure is HUGE!!!

Ive used aqua pro's before and for the size of the media basket and lph it is definetly not cheap because its crap. Although not noisey it does make more noise than my fluvals. About the same noise as a classic ehiem.

If your going to get some info on it, try and ask about the Jeabo too. Its a bit cheaper and they would know from past experience if they have any complaints or not.

Might be able to get a higher lph in the Jeabo for a cheaper price.

Just some ideas.

I am not sure if I am happy with my 2 x 300w Sera heaters, according to my therm, which is positioned at the front of the tank, and the 2 heaters in front of flow of the filter outlet, the temperature has reached a max of 29 degrees (with the heaters at their max setting of 32 degrees) in a 4x2x2 tank. Not sure if it is the therm, or the heaters. Will try putting another thermometer in to check. This is not good , I want to be able to get to atleast 32 degrees.

OK, I have realised with the used of 2 thermometers that there are cold spots in the tank ... I have rearranged the heaters, one a little in front of the outtake of the filter, one opposite (closer to the intake) ... I think this should do it ... 'a big smack of duh to front of head'.
