Discus Beginer or beggar

:HI am new to discus first it was only two months and had to move from New york to florida and left them but i amtrying again in florida and now again for about 4 months . They sure can get you involved.Its like an addiction kinda like a girlfriend they get you frustrated but you cant give them up.

I could use all the input ican get
I read one guy was happy to find a breeder not a pet shop thats the best advice yet I am lucky to be in Jack Wattleys neighborhood.
I started with 8 discus size 3" in a 56 gallon tank i know that i am probably pushing it What you think people. I see if i can send some pic's below

Hi Artie, and a very warm welcome to the forum.

Those are some very nice looking marlboros you have there. Love to see more pictures of your tank.

I guess with 8 in a 56 gallon tank, you are pushing the upper limits. We like to see one adult fish in 10 gallons, but if you keep up with your water changes, you should be okay for several more months at least.
