Hello Frinds.
Is it posibel to buy Discus in Australia and get them send to Denmark ??
Can they survive the long distance.if i buy them from one of you Guys??
And is ther anyone Down under,ther will sell a discus pair to a Wiking ? :lol:
What is the price for a pair in Australia ??

Hi Hornbaek,
Yeah its possible but the freight might be too expensive. I've sent to nth america a couple of times so the trip to Denmark is possibly similar time, but 1 pair!! The freight would be more than the price of the pair i would think. Perhaps Germany might be a good place to look, much closer to you and they breed gorgeous discus as well.

I am wondering what the conditions must be like in Germany , extreme cold at some times in the year ... and if you thought discus were difficult to look after down under.
But you know this might be good for you in Denmark because the fish should be conditioned to a similar environment to Demark if from Germany ?

If you can have access too a curencey convertor 6-7cm common strains (blue diamonds, snakeskins) are around $AU50. A cheap breeding pair starts at about $AU200. For a good strain about $AU350.
Would be intrested in your prices so we could compare.

I check the prices on monday .. But one pair in Denmark kost about
3000 thusind Danish Kroner .. That will be about 400 AUS pound

AU dollars....but yeah $400 is about what we pay for a currect strain of a good pair.
