I have a 7" cube at home as well that used to house a desert scorpion.
Every time i walk past it in the shed i wonder what i could do with it. Now i know.
Can you tell me where you sourced the light and filter from.

From the time stamp on the photo it says you took the photo about half an hour AFTER you posted it here. You are a master of time travel!

Hi,
Well this is my first post on the forum. And im pleased to see this thread. Looking great. The K rating of the light is a bit lower but as the plants you chose are not very demanding in terms of lighting, should have no problems.
Dont u think the tanks gonna be too small for tertras? It gonna be around 1.5g and as with all tertra, they love schooling with their own type. I would vote for a male betta and a couple of small shrimps (cherries wud look great got a color contrast). Just an opinion on stocking, the tank looks great otherwise.

Love what you've done with the tank.
A male betta would be a good choice for a tank that size, but you'll need a lid to stop him jumping.
White cloud mountain minnows would look good too, and grow happily in that temp. There is a long fin variety which is very pretty.

Thanks :)
Water changes are really easy, all you need is a plastic cup, after 5-6 full scoops into a small bucket will be about 1/3 of water in the tank. Then just refill same way.. takes less than 5 mins!.. Talk about easy maitenence..
