OH i love fine specimens of Malawi's.

Before i emptied my tanks and got disus a had wild caught Hongi (possibly my favourite), Hayomalandi (wife's favourite), Eletric Blue and Salousi.

Kev - would really like to know the prices. Considering setting up a single Malawi tank. Yet to decide whether it will be a species specific breeder or a community.

Albino Usisya looks nice.

Now what makes the electric blue an "iceberg"?? I always though the icebergs were completely white??

Just looks like a standard electric blue to me with a nice white blaze.

Hi Kev

Correct me if I m wrong I thought only the peacocks were legal imports

All the other fish arent listed as being able to be imported into Australia

Cheers

hi kev
all white fryeri are called white knights
the white strip that runs the full length of the fryeri makes it an iceberg

and your dimi comp is a dimi strigatus

Actually chris, i beg to differ.
as far as I was aware, icebergs were from a different location and were colour morph with a paler more "icey" look as they where closer to a sky blue.

In sydney & brisbane, we refer to the white form of E.Blues as white Knights ..

Maybe its different down there? :? :P

Hi Kev

Thanks for the reply

So would it be safe to say all the peacocks are imported new blood lines to Australia

And all other fish are locally sourced due to import restrictions

I need to know this as I am looking for a Imported e-blue Male and some Demasoni and would like to get a new blood line for my colony

When I look at the Add Even those fish are advertised as imports with the caption in the picture thats why I really want to be sure

Cheers
