Lighting???

Hi guys I was wondering how many hours of light does discus need on a daily basis???

Ps I Don't want to keep any plants!

It's probably not so important for fish, but plants certainly need it, go for about 8 hours minimum.........idealy just have the lights on for the equivalent time natural sunlight shines would be safe, but variations to this may be needed if algae becomes an issue.
