DYI tank

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with building their own tank...The reason I'm thinking of this is i want to build a custom tank to fit into a certain area...It will be an in wall aquarium so no one will see the canopy or stand....Most of the tanks for sale in my area are for everything, stand, canopy etc., which i don't necessarily need.....I'd like to make a tank that's about 4x2x2 ft.....

I've built about 50 tanks of various sizes, and it's not hard..........but ??? .....if you are not 100% sure on the procedure then I would recommend you dont mount a home made on into a wall, because if it leaks you will be in deep trouble. You should be able to buy a good 4 foot tank without the accessories for around $150, shop around a little more.

unless you can find a cheap source of glass, buying a 4x2x2 might end up cheaper. i suggest try making a smaller tank first.
