Weight of Breeding Cone

Hi all,

I purchased a JBL breeding cone the other day and have noticed that my discus keep moving it around the tank...
I use to have a terracotta one in there which was much heavier and stayed in the same spot, so I’m not sure if the JBL cone is moved around due to its weight….

I’m thinking of adding some weight to the cone by gluing (silicone) some rocks on the inside...

Just want to know your thoughts and experiences.

As long as they cant tip it over id leave it the way it is....

That way they can move it where they think would be best...

I’ll leave it in there and see what happens...

My only concern is that if they are trying to do runs on the cone and it keeps moving away, they will think that the cone in unsuitable to lay on...
Or am i thinking about this way too much?? :o

put directly in the corner of the tank. they should not be able to move it!
