omg, they laied eggs today!

i came back home, my discus was at the back, wich they never do, and when i looked after them i saw that they had laied a ton of eggs on one of the plants! i filmed them too, adding the movie to the "photo" section.

i'm so happy! after all this bad weeks, with one of them dying, all of a sudden this happens, i havent done anything special to make this happen.


WOW! i just hope they will grow up :)

i havent had discus kids before, so help would be appreciated.

i have a 33l tank i can use too, but i dont know what i should do, any help would be nice.

congragulations :blob if they are first timers the'll take a while to get it right so if you dont get wrigglers, its not unusual.

i was afraid i'd never see my discus do such a thing.

let them have a go a few times in the community tank. once you start getting wrigglers you'll need another tank standard 2-3 foot will do.

they hatched from the eggs.there where 15 of them, 7 fell off the plant, 8 left, dont know what happend to the last ones after that.

i was not home to watch this, my gf was the one taking care of them.

i have now moved out the fish that could be potential eaters of the eggs\fish.

so next time they do this, i guess it will go a little better :)
