ok ive never been a 100% sure of what these two things are, but as far as i know kh stands for carbonate hardness and the higher it is the more stable the the ph, is and the kh doesnt bother the fish?

and the gh is general hardness which the higher it is the more it effects discus?

could anyone confirm if im right or wrong with this? also if im missing something could you add it in?

kH is the amount of calcium in the water

Gh is the general mineral count is. I beleive it includes kH.
