Just interested in what kind of setups my fellow dwarf lovers have. What size tank, filtration, species etc.
Show off your pride and joy!

Actually Rob, I'm soon to start stripping my down as I'm moving house. So this is a great time to take some photos. Will post some this weekend after I've trimmed the plants up a bit.

Hi All,
As above, I thought I'd take the opportunity to get some shots of my tank before I start stripping it down for the move.
Won't worry about listing the non-apistogramma's but the apisto species in the tank are: (excuse the spelling if there's errors)
- cacatuoide
- trifasciata "gurope"
- bitaeniata
- baenschi "inka 50"
- agassizii
- juruensis (well sold as juruensis but the more they grow the more I doubt they are the real thing)
- viejita
- macmasteri (a couple of females, no males)
- apistogrammoides pucallpaensis
They all get along really well. Will be setting up a fishroom at the new house. Then I can start breeding my favourites.
Some of the plants are a bit untidy / overgrown as I'm trying to grow them out so I can use the excess growth to start a new display tank.
The whole tank:

And managed to get a nice shot of my trifasciata and his girlfriend before my camera battery ran out:

Looks like you've got quite a decent collection of driftwood in there. Nice stuff.
What's the tank capacity?

What kind of filtration have you got going on that? I'm planning on getting a 6x2x2 when I move aswell. The only upside of moving house I spose

Rob,
I've got a sump underneath the tank. It's fairly large although I don't know the size for sure. I'd say it was 3 foot long.

here's what i call my mini set up , i built it 18mths ago
was enjoyable planning exercise though i was in a rush and put it somewhere that i shouldn't
you will notice it is ina glass conservatory, lots of light and temperature fluctuations
those considerations were part of the reason i wanted it large
it has 5 x 2 ft tanks end on and approx 6 feet along the bottom

hereit is as i was building the frame and loading tanks
it was then clad in polystryene to reduce heat and light issues
unfortunately this is the only one i have of it all with water in

Wow, nice setup fishgeek. Mines are no where like this, tanks scattered around the places in the living room (not particular proud of my setup).

Yeah, but Thomas the great thing about your set up is you've got your little guys all around you. When I get my fishroom set up it's going to be under the house. At least you sit back and watch your guys at leisure.
Fishgeek, very nice set up. Did you drill the holes in the tanks yourself?

thomas i had most of these tanks scatterd about the house to start with
i am in a block of flats and the garage has no power!!!
i had 2 tanks in bathroom, one blocked the space where the toilet roll should have been, luckily i have a very understanding wife
oneor two on the kitchen bench sometimes upto 3
4ft in all that is still there
another in lounge , two in bedroom
hence moving them to one place for ease of maintainence and tidiness in a house
i really would like power to the garage though
once they were there i think that watch them would be reduced!
no parkap i took them to the local glaziers and gt them to drill 10 tanks , another 5 are still empty in the garage
one of the discus diy guys has shown how to cut glass, just need an expensive drill and patient
i have all second hand cheap tanks and thought easier to just get a bench monted drill and specialist bit to cut them
intially these gys did it free for me, this time they charged because i took so many in, still probably cheaper than the drill bit for 10 tanks
