6-8 betta fry delta tail/half moon about 1-1 1/2 inch. parents were from SLS. if anyone(who promises not to keep them in a bowl) can make the effort to pick them up from Lakemba NSW, you're welcome to do so. :)

hmmm....ill look into it and ask my mum...im only 13...i live on the cc nth of syd. only prob. is the amount of room... do bettas go ok with discus? if not, would a 20-30 ltr be good enough for a little while?? i have small 3-4 litre tanks, x2, could i put one in each?? then have six in the 20-330 ltr???

Hi Jacqui. The males need to be kept separate from each other, but are quite good with other fish.

Females can go together in a community tank without any problems.

they prefer a lower temperature than discus. ideally about 80 F. they are from my first(and last) betta spawn. parents were what most would call "show quality". just dont want them freezing in a bowl like in the pet shops.

would u happen 2 hav a daytime cotact no. asap, coz it a 1 in 100 chance i could come tomorrow,doubt it, but all the samme...hav u got bags 2 transport and stuff? dunno whether mum will take 2 it too lightly but o well...by the way what colour are the fry??what im sayin is its eitha tomorrow or never...havent asked mum yet....

the male looked something like this but much darker, female was same colour. the fry have hardly any colour yet but they should almost all be blue.
