good news, bad news!

good news all !!!!!!!

my blue rams are all coloured up chasing everyone away from one end of the tank.
they look awsome and are some of the best colours I`ve seen.
on closer examination.......EGGS!!!!!!!!.....
everywhere........
lots of em.......

now the bad news.....
they`re both girls.....aaaaaaaaaaagh!

hasn`t anyone in perth got a spare male????????

wearnt you able to tell they were both females before this? the females have the pinky purple on there belly! anyway congrats onthe eggs, looks like youl have to get a couple of males

course I knew they were both chicks...

problem is, life,... as in aquariums, guys just not hangin at the same place the chicks do.

I`m sure down the track somewhere I`ll find a shop with a tank full of males and no femmes.

but by that time I won`t have any femmes.

I cant help you at the moment..try giving Midland Aquarium a cal...last time i was there they had some VERY good quality stock...Ask them though as you want to keep away from the Asian bred farm fish if you can...the German stuff does come in from time to time...

I was there a couple of weeks ago but no luck....

well, there was some but they were nearly as small as the cardinals you get in perth.

i.e. guppy food.

spose I`ll just keep looking.

Try Perth Aquarium & Display Centre in Cannington - I saw some down there a couple of weeks ago that looked rather nice.
