Barometric pressure and spawning ?

i obtained four blue diamonds at 5" each a couple of weeks ago. they have shown no interest in pairing or spawning till yesterday when i did a water change just before the rains came in. now a couple are busy shaking themselves and cleaning the uv sterilizer. anyone else have fish go into breed mode with a water change when there's a sharp drop in barometric pressure ?
