Hey guys,
These two are probably my favourite discus, who I've raised since little 2" fish. They were originally from a group of 12 living in a 6' tank but recently were given their own space. They just had a spawn a few days ago, their first without eating the eggs. However I removed the eggs as they were unfortunately unfertilised. I think the male still doesn't know what to do
Anyways, here they are

Hiya,
Very nice SS's there, love the colour and shape :) They look alot like Rod Lewis's SS line :thumb:
Best of luck with future spawns :)
Cheers,
Dee :)

I assume they are related, I'm not too sure how many pairs of the original breeder had.

Cheers everyone. I think I'll pass on putting these in the photocomp though, as I figure I haven't been much part of this forum's community enough to warrant participation. Although it looks like a ripper at the moment, some very nice shots in it.

Hey Nathan, I don't really know my discus varients that well so I'm quite unsure if they are Fineline SS's or not.
Thanks again for the comments guys! Quite lucky we have some very good breeders up this way.

Things haven't changed much, although I've finally saw the males tube down the last two spawns. Still yet to see him do runs with the female
Anyways, here's an updated picture of the pair.

Looked like there was some fertilised eggs there last time I saw them... might need to invest in an RO unit.
I believe they are originally from Roy Khoo.
