matzilla's discus

here are a few of my discus

they are my first attempt at raising discus so they are far from perfect. i have had most of these for just under a year

next are my two brown base discus...they came from the same spawn but look very different

here they are together

this is one of the brown based discus that doesn't have much colour...

this is the other brown based discus... i would say that it has some turq in it...what do you think???

next is the big guy...or girl...not sure yet

it's a marlbro red from henry of the ada...he has some bloody amazing fish that guy...and what a nice guy he is!!!

i have two marlbro reds...the second is slightly smaller as it is a little more stunted

next is my white/pink... i really like this little guy who is unfortunately little stunted too.

it is going to look amazing as an adult and i can't wait to see it's full colours

this is my blue diamond...it is also a little stunted, but like i said these are my first ever discus.

but i have learned a lot from raising these guys i expect to achieve higher quality disuc the next batch i raise..

also, i got the red ss, white/pink and bd from colin of the ada

last pic is just a wierd shot i took from the top of the tank...nothing special...just a different view

Those are awesome pics. The Red Marlbros are so pretty and bright colored. I love the contrast with the B. diamonds.

They are in a 50-60g tank? Nice job, well done. Love the lack of peppering in the reds.
