Hi guys and girls Ive noticed a bit of water damage under the hood of one of my tanks. any tips on which paints to use and how to apply, Cheers Chris. :arrow:

There a water proof stain ( like a paint ) at bunning warehouse. Use them to paint inside your hood.

Also put the lids of your tank on.

As Dr.V says, cover glass on your tank will reduce the amount of condensation, and therefore the amount of damage to your hood.

I gather you're talking about a wooden hood, and not one of the Jebo ones. Just apply the waterproofing with a brush, but let it dry thoroughly before putting it back on your tank.
