i believe i know the basic idea, but just wanted to double check to make sure i dont abuse my discus...

trying to get them to eat (quality) dry foods... i have worms and veal heart which they eat like crazy, and i fed them well especially last few days, and now i will not feed them anything but small amounts of dry pellets, i know angels eat them so i knwo its good food (special for discus and expensive too, but just discus are the ones who refuse it so far)

QUESTION: is it ok to keep themwithout food for 2-3-4 days till they eat this food or should i feed them at least a little with their favorite food?

Hi rytis. No healthy fish will deliberately starve itself, when there is food in front of it.

Discus can quite easily go for a week or more without eating, and suffer no lasting effects.

I wouldn't do it with young fish, or fish in poor health, but your's are just being fussy, so it won't hurt them a bit.

Good to hear that some of them are already trying it.
