Hi all,

Here are a few of photos of my two different locations of 'gardneri'

http://www.akvaryumhobisi.com/CKSG/JosmaleGen2.jpg
Fundulopanchax nigerianus Jos Plateau

Fundulopanchax gardneri Akure

Photos highlight the need to keep species/locations seperate and to never ever to mix females; as it is next to impossible to tell the females apart.

Excuse the photos; in real life ( ) Jos Plateau is more elongate and the red bar on dorsal and anal fins run differently than Akure with clear white line seperating red and yellow bars, where the bright white line is not clear or aparent in Akure. Also Jos Plateau have less red dots in general as well as having the base colour different.

Also here are some other locations of "gardneri":

Beautiful photos Serkan. Those little fish are gorgeous. Seems like they have more variations than discus

Hi Merrilyn,

Thanks! The variation is amazing even within the same group. Although they might be not as majestic as discus I think they are a preety neat group of fish

Once I have settled into my house (building will finish by October hopefully!) I'll be able to take better photos of the killifish I have. Currently I take all the photos in their own tanks, but I actually have a purpose built fish tank for photography that I do not have the space to afford to set-up a photographic studio at the moment
