I've been trying to research any lighting that would fit in my current hood to give me around 150W of lighting for my 67 gallon tank. All the DIY retofit compact lights i have seen are too wide, and thats not even counting the ballast which I guess would have to be on the outside of the hood if thats even possible. Well the picture attached is the space i am trying to fit it in and the light that came with the hood. What would be my best (or only) option for providing the light i need? Or will i have to install lights on the underside of the hood instead of in the prebuilt lens area?
