I also got a neon blue and a black one but couldnt get any good shots yet.. they are still all in quarantine...

has he increased his discus holdings? he tends to keep a wide variety of exotic tank busters when I used to visit it.

Yes Nick I do go to Rayonne alot to buy fish food and plants and stuff...
He does get quite a few discus in and some of them are very nice... They have a heap of gorgeous Cichlids up there...

I will try to take some pic's of my current family.

Some how they have managed to occupy 3 of my tanks...they have tankmates, but in the form of non guppy munchers.....

Mine are just a hotch potch of strains.......but i'm yet too see a colour I don't like...

Sammi how do you get them to pose so well ?

I take about a thousand photos (oh allright 100) and then I get about 1 or 2 that come out allright... I also find that if I just stand back and take one of the whole tank and then crop it to show the guppy I want the pic of. This sometime works well...

I paid $2.95 for mine... he is really big for a male too... I saw some absolutely gorgeous ones a few weeks ago and now I am spewing I didnt get some...

New Bucket Guppies :lol: :lol:


I threw nicely of course 2 male ( 1 black 1 yellow ) and 6 females into a 80 liter bucket last summer. Beginning of October to Mid March.

This is of some of the males I have put in separate tank. The females also have a tank to themselves ATM.

Pulled out around 50 medium to large guppies and many more fry.

Needless to say next summer, I will be more selective and add some more buckets.

They were fed crushed flake twice a day and the rest was live food that fell or bred in the bucket.

No water changes were done.........plants were floated in the buckets..

Wow!!!! I hate you!!!! they are magnificent!!!! What an amazing array of colours...

I couldnt possibly pick out a favourite as I think they are all very pretty....or should I say handsome being boys and all..LOL

I took your advice and took loads of shots.

You should see some of the bad ones LOL.

Some pictures are of the same fish, they just appear different at certain angles.

I'm yet to see a male guppy that doesnt look good.

Sorry Davo none for sale...

I prefer not to mix them and I keep my gup's away from potential danger..

The fry hide in the floating plants out of harms way...

Also I keep them at 26 degrees and the discus at 29-30 degrees...

They really are fun the guppies. I appreciate you like mine thanks...

Hi Nathan,
I had to pay "through the Nose" for this Champion Strain, IFGA, ..
3 pairs of Juvie were 120 bucks including Express shipping, but they are the best!
They just "dropped", so I am up to 25 to 30 of this strain.

Wow Lee, Thats a big price but I suppose you are ensured of great quality guppys and fry and can continue a nice pure strain.... whereas our little blacks could have come from anywhere....
