FS: Discus - blues, reds, pigeons/yellows + assorted strains

Hello fellow discus forum members. 8-)

i have the following for sale:
sizes are approximate sizes but accurate, size is measure forom mouth to the start of the tail (tail not included in measurement).

1x red melon - great shape, very clean fish!!! ---> $80 8cm SOLD!
1x Golden Mosaic - excellent shape ---> $60 7cm
2x female Hi body Blue Turquoise - both have excellent shape ---> $65 each or $120 for both, both 10cm BOTH SOLD!
1x snow leopard - looks to be a male, great shape ---> $45 7cm SOLD!
1x red turquoise female - excellent shape ---> $65 8cm

1x red snakeskin - female and great shape 9cm
1x red snakeskin - male and great shape 12cm
i want to sell both togeather ---> $140
i was going to breed the snakeskins but dont have the time atm.

i would like an EOI on these fish as i am unsure if i want to sell them....

1x golden pigeon - very clean and clear clear markings, excellent shape, also male ---> $100 11cm SOLD!
1x white butterfly cross pigeon - possible male, excellent shape ---> $100 9cm

pickup only at this stage. i am happy to help in the delivery of the fish however if it have to travel a fair way i will require extra money for fuel. if there is enough interest i will ship fish interstate.

I also have available a 6x2x2 tank - 12mm glass, bevelled edges, black corners, great silicon job and lids. comes with matching stand and hood - stained and very neat. also included about 80 Kg of gravel.

what fiter and heater does it come with? i dont need gravel as i have tonnes of it but all my tanks are bare bottom.

hey nick,
there are 2 of those fish and they are just gibbiceps (sail fin plecos). ummmm if there is good interest in them i might part with 1 or both and start again however they are only 25cm atm. still little babies :P i have had them since they were 2.5 cm long. lol

sorry about the bad pics lol. its feeding time so hard to move all the discus out of the way. i will try for another pic later where their fins are fully erect (spectacular sight!).

Hi Bluediscus. Airfreight is the only way to safely transport discus over a long distance.

Depending on the size and weight of the box, you could expect to pay $100 or more for delivery from Queensland to Melbourne.

it is the fish on page 1 that was under the EOI. not the golden pigeon. the other one. the pic on the previous page what not very good. i had to take the pics straight after w/c. here is what he normally looks like.

hey blue discus. i can definetly ship the fish for you. i doubt it will cost $100 as LR said but i cannot confirm the price untill i put the fish on the plane. my fish are VERY healthy and their tanks are spotless. please let me know which ones you are after and i might be able to sort out a better price for you.

But yeah about the babies that would be sweet, i may even be able to get more than one then. I just think they look so beautiful, i just cant get anything good like that here in melb. Its my fav discus.

shipping is a flat rate of $40 per box of fish + $6-8 (cant remember lol) per Kg.

i have left the golden mosaic, little red turq female, the snake skins and the golden pigeon cross white butterfly.

i can fit up to about 5 large bags and one smaller bag in each box.

np jho5l1e. i will admit some of them are quite expensive but as i have said to many other people most of my fish are imported, they get the very best care, the best food and i make sure i purchase good equipment to go on each tank to ensure they are kept in good condition.

Hi David,

never use a leaking bag again :cry: We have to stop half way and my wife have to hold the bag open and place on her lap for the rest of the way home and hre pants are all wet :lol:
