I would not be buying it.
Resun isnt the best brand to begin with - better to go with eheim, hydor fluval etc... But also, if it has a UV inside the filter - you have lost biological filtering space and thus filter function.
Better to buy the best canister for your size tank and get the largest possible UV on it you can afford.

I have a resun canister 808 model 1600l/hr.
It seems to do the job so far and i've had it running for 2 yrs and has'nt skip a beat yet.
It gets a little noisy when the media begins to clog up,but it gives me an indication that it's time for cleaning.
I'm not sure about the current line up in the resun range, but i guess it pays to do a little research before taking the plunge.
Incidently my mate is on the hunt for a cannister w/ uv also.He was quoted $300.00 for the top of the line Resun @ Monaco Aqrms in Canleyvale in Sydney.

IMO it is better to keep the 2 seperate.
let the filter do its job, and the UV do its job.

Yep 2800 L/ph and a 11 watt UV ????
Like a 11 watt UV is going to have ANY effect at that flowrate?
I don't think so .....useless gimick

I think the UV is only good for algae control, nothing else.
Depend on the reason you want an UV, you may end up buying another UV anyway. I think it is a waste of money till they can come with a bigger UV unit

thanks for the advise guys... your points are well taken... i ended up buying eheim, but i sacrifice the UV brand,.. went to JEBO 36 watts... hopefully i did not commit mistakes... I am not sure about JEBO it is made in CHINA, but price is abit affordable and the replacement bulb aswell... compare it to PONDMASTER wich is about a bit expensive and it was also made in CHINA... so since it is come from CHINA, i guess it does not make any difference at all...
any bad or good reviews about JEBO?
