Does Size Matter...?

When keeping discus together, do they all have to be the same size?

Problem - After adding the large discus (6 weeks ago) the smallest one has become its friend and they terrorise the other 4 who are now hiding all the time and not really eating.

Water parameters all are fine so do I take the large discus out and replace with one about 12cms?

My tank - 3ft/150L planted with 6 discus (1 x 18cms, 1 x 12cm, 4 x 10cms), 20 assorted tetras, 1 cory, 1 otto, 1 whiptail.

Give them some carpet time I say.... lol

That will sort them out

Maybe try feeding in the normal spot, and when the nawty 2 are munching out, add some food above the area that the others are hiding and see if they are interested in the food.

I find adding smaller fish than whats already in the tank than adding a larger. Less stress of any of them
