Sad to say that this gorgeous fish, which was owned by Taksan and myself, has passed away.
He managed to get himself firmly wedged in a hollow log in the ten foot tank, chasing after his mate. All efforts to remove him proved futile. We finally resorted to sawing the log in half, with a hand saw, to release him. Unfortunately stress claimed him 36 hours later.
I'm grateful to Taksan that we have such a wonderful photographic record of him.
RIP big guy.
