I bit the bullet tonight and move the pair to another tank.
They have done a great job as 99% of the eggs that hatched are now 2 weeks old fry.
2/3 of the eggs hatched,he missed one side of the pipe she layed on.
I had a count of the fry by zooming in the photo and came up with 120 fry which all are growing at even rate,with only one deformed fry (he only has one eye).
So i'm pretty happy with my first go at a solid red discus, here a few photo's of the babies having there first feed without the mum and dad.
