ADA Meeting tonight

Yes the ADA meeting for the month of March is being held this evening.

Nothing Major is planned. A bit of a talk about some of the new strains is planned and perhaps talking about doing a show or a trip somewhere.

What club benefits and meeting structure

A mate of mine is a member of the cichlid club nsw

and they have a trade table , guest speakers, and mini auctions

I am not sure how many members we currently have. it is below 50 at present.

Meeting structure from the next meeting is going to be a BBQ which will be sold to raise funds for club etc. Then we talk about general club running issues at the start then break for a coffee adn cake etc. Then after the break we are trying to do whatever the members want. EG beginners question time, guest speakers, food making demonstrations etc etc.

If you are trying to compare the ADA with the cichlid club then all i can say is that there is no way we are going to compete with the fish auctions that the cichlid club runs.

We do normally have some fish for sale at the meetings as well.

Main thing is to get together with other discus people and talk about our hobby. If you are looking for special deals etc then at present our club cant provide for that.
