Urgent Help Discus Look Like Dying!!!

Hi all,

Need urgent help here....one of my discus head always pointed up, i got 2 in the hostpital tank suspect of HEX disease. One of them started eating now ( only eat live Shrimp!! heheh)
I am sure there is enough air for them...just don't know why he head is pointed up all the time and he is really skinny now :(

HELP needed ASAP pls

I have had similar with one of mine, he is ok and that he is just getting over some illness

Hi DM, are you able to test your water and post the results here.

Lots of things will make fish hang at the surface of the water. Lack of oxygen is one, but also high ammonia or high nitrite or nitrates will have the same effects.

Some diseases also affect breathing, like gill flukes and velvet.

Is the fish showing any other symptoms? Does he still eat well and are the droppings normal.

A photo would be a big help.
