has any one evea herd of this happering i have had mine for about a year but the lid has been on them the whole time .. just woundering if they can go off.. before i start feeding to my fish..

I believe it takes a few years for flake and bit foods to go off

I would be thinking the lid wasnt on properly, as they can last quite some time...

do you keep them on top of your lights or tanks? cause the heat and moisture can make them go gross

kool... i was just wondering if thay could go off.. thay were keeped under the tank in the dark .. not near any lights .. thay seemed fine .. i was just making shore

If the lid is on them and there is no moisture nearby, they should be fine.
I have never had a problem with them.
